At Hook-N-Haul Dumpsters, we’re here to make your dumpster rental experience smooth and stress-free. To help with that, here’s a quick breakdown of what you can’t put in your dumpster – and how to avoid unnecessary fees or delays.
🚫 Prohibited Items – Do Not Load These
For safety, legal, and environmental reasons, the following items are not allowed in any dumpster:

⚠️ Restricted or Fee-Based Items
The following items may be accepted with extra fees or prior notice. Always check with us before placing these in your dumpster:
- Mattresses or box springs – $35 disposal fee
- Dirt, concrete, brick, rock, tile, sod –No “heavy fill” materials allowed in standard dumpsters
- Construction debris with metal or nails – Call for guidance
- Large amounts of roofing or shingles – May require a dedicated container

To keep your costs low and avoid surprises, please note the following additional charges:
